Olympic Gold Medal Winner Buys Exotic Car

If you won the Olympic gold medal for figure skating, what’s the first thing you’d do?  Now that first-place figure skater Evan Lysacek has fulfilled his dream of winning the gold medal, he’s going to move on to driving his dream car.

For Lysacek, that car is an Aston Martin DBS, which retails for about $269,000.  The champion skater considered buying a Bentley Coupe, but decided instead on the DBS, which was featured in the two most recent James Bond movies.

“Aston Martin all the way, baby,” Lysacek said in a Yahoo Sports article. “Got to be the DBS. Just like Bond.”

Dallas car storage for exotic cars

The Aston Martin DBS is an excellent example of a truly exotic sports car.  The two-seater features a 6.0-liter V12 engine that delivers 510 horsepower, all while turning the head of anyone lucky enough to see it.

“The DBS is an incredible car,” says Ron Sturgeon, small business consultant, exotic car enthusiast and owner of a Dallas car storage facility.  “Some cars just go beyond the traditional sports car and into the range of the truly amazing.”

Sturgeon should know about amazing cars.  In addition to a car storage business, he owns a company that organizes automotive dream tours in Texas.

Dream tours give exotic car fans the chance to drive several incredible cars over some of the most beautiful roads in the Dallas area.  Typically featured cars include a Ferrari F430, a Porsche 911 Cabriolet, a Bentley GT Coupe, and an Audi R8.

“When you drive an exotic car, you get to experience the thrill of something that is beautiful and powerful at the same time,” says Sturgeon.

Lysacek will reportedly be buying just such a car from Aston Martin Newport Beach, a dealer in Southern California.

“We know how much Evan likes his luxury cars, and he will enjoy taking a tour of a showroom and test driving the DBS,” said Gary Briggs, executive salesman for the Aston Martin dealer. “The DBS has typical understated elegance and is very much the gentleman’s sports car. It is a fine choice for an Olympic champion.”

Want to drive a gentleman’s car without the $269,000 price tag?  How about four amazing cars?  For less than $700, you can see what it’s like to be Evan Lysacek – without the gold medal, of course. Check it out at http://www.DFWdriveYourDream.com.
