If you dream of driving a Lamborghini, you might just be in luck. According to Edmunds Inside Line, the Italian automaker is offering its annual driving program for only about $5,000. The price includes hotel accommodations.
The Lamborghini Driving Academy program gives auto enthusiasts the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini on a race track, a life goal for many fans of these exotic automobiles. The program will be held every month from April through November, with no courses being held in August.
There are two programs to choose from. The first, called the Track Academy course, is for entry-level drivers and includes racing theory and handling and safety drills. Participants then get behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo.
For more advanced drivers, the Advanced Academy course offers tips on improving wheel control and performance on the track. In addition to driving a Lamborghini Gallardo, these participants will also drive a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.
The courses will also help participants become familiar with all wheel drive, deal with the finer points of steering at top speeds, and even perfect the art of drifting. The price tag of the course seems very reasonable when all of this education and experience is taken into account.
